  While we wait for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to continue the remake saga, PowerWash Simulator is giving fans the chance to wash away all their troubles. Hot on the heels of today's launch of the Tomb Raider Special Pack, the power-washing sim (really, the name says it all) is getting ready to head to Midgar.   Details are light, but players can look forward to working their power-washing magic on enemies, locations and objects from Final Fantasy VII .   The official website and social media accounts for the forthcoming Oshi no Ko TV anime adaptation have announced a new livestream event that will be held next month on YouTube.   The event, called the Oshi no Ko Latest Information Presentation , will stream on Sunday, February 19 and feature cast members  Rie Takahashi , Yurie Igoma , and emcee  Chiaki Matsuzawa  revealing additional updates on the anime ahead of both its first episode Japanese theatrical screening in March and the April premiere on Japanese TV.   It's time to step into the Street Fighter ring in a whole new way, because Capcom and Crunchyroll Games are here to introduce the Street Fighter: Duel mobile game to the world.   The nature of a prequel, or at least of a story that’s set in a series’ past, dictates that it does at least a little bit of explaining. Everything from the “It’s Darth Vader as a little kid” of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace  to “Oh, that’s where the Xenomorph came from” of Prometheus exists as foundational callbacks to the overall text — nostalgia turned into an instruction book. Pokémon Legends: Arceus , set in the Sinnoh region of the past (known as the Hisui region in those olden days) does this, too. Everything from outright explanation of distinct and obvious hints to familiar hairstyles helps build a bit of a picture of how the Pokémon world as we know it came to be.   It is, by far, the Pokémon game with the most interest in the outright exploration of its own lore.   One Piece Odyssey is a pretty good game. Most of its positive attributes come from sheer enthusiasm for the material. The voice acting is expressive and consistent. The writing is often funny and laden with references to the anime/manga. The battle animations, seeking to recreate the explosive and/or cartoonish powers of the beloved Straw Hat Crew, are fun to watch — even if the nature of JRPGs have you performing them over and over again.   That said, it isn’t a perfect game. And while playing it (and enjoying it for the most part) I began to wonder why truly great One Piece games are in such short supply.
