Crunchyroll To Stream Golden Kamuy's Second Season This Fall

Crunchyroll is proud to announce the addition of the second season of the Golden Kamuy anime adaptation to its catalog of simulcasts slated for this Fall. The series will begin streaming for Crunchyroll members worldwide except Asia beginning on Monday October 8th, the same day as the Japanese broadcast. Exact scheduling will be confirmed at a later date.

The story takes place in the mighty Northern field of Hokkaido, the time is in the turbulent late Meiji Era. A post-war soldier Sugimoto, aka, “Immortal Sugimoto” was in need of large sums of money for a particular purpose…. What awaited Sugimoto, who stepped into Hokkaido’s Gold Rush with dreams of making a fortune, was a tattoo map leading to a hidden treasure based on hints inscribed on the bodies of convicts in Abashiri Prison?! The magnificent nature of Hokkaido vs vicious convicts and the meeting with a pure Ainu girl, Ashiripa!! A survival battle for a hidden treasure hunt begins!

Yotsuba&! Art Exhibition Gets Whimsical in Yokohama in October

  Residents of Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan will soon have the opportunity to "enjoy everything", because an art exhibition dedicated to Kiyohiko Azuma's Yotsuba&! , an everyday comedy manga about the gentle adventures of an adopted 5 year old girl, will open there soon.   The Kiyohiko Azuma "YOTSUBA&!" Exhibition of Original Manga Drawings will run from October 07 - 23, 2022, in the Calendar Room venue on the 7th floor of the Marui City Yokohama shopping center in Takashima, Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.   The installation will include original manga drawings, making-of videos exploring Azuma's creative process, new artwork, and more.     On its CD/digital release day in Japan, the official YouTube channel for voice actress/singer Mai Fuchigami (Alice Yotsuba/Cure Rosetta in DokiDoki! PreCure , Nagisa Shiota in Assassination Classroom , and Miho Nishizumi in Girls und Panzer ) started streaming a five-minute full-length music video for her fifth single song "Crossing Road."   The dramatic tune is now featured as the ED theme for Food Wars! The Fifth Plate , the latest fifth season of the TV anime adaptation of Yuto Tsukuda (story) and Shun Saeki (arts)'s cooking battle manga Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma .
