Cardcaptor Sakura Exhibit Promises 200 Original Drawings and One Giant Kero
Cardcaptor Sakura fans in Japan can surround themselves with works of art from the series this fall — including a very large Kero-chan.
Cardcaptor Sakura -Magical Art Gallery- will be displaying more than 200 works of art in multiple "zones" throughout the exhibit. A Flower Room will display still life floral art, and will allow visitors to participate in a giant mural by adding flower stickers to the exhibit's walls.
The "Original Art Maze" will feature artwork of the series's many characters at multiple stages in the story:
And, of course, the giant Kero-chan (seen above) will be on hand for photos and selfies.
Attendees can buy their tickets in advance, which will line them up for a box of premium goods and an exclusive "voice guide" through the exhibit:
Local buses will also feature wrappings with the exhibit's key art to advertise the event:
Cardcaptor Sakura -Magical Art Gallery- will be held from October 26 to January 3 at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills. Advance tickets are now available.
