Melodious Loud Rock Band coldrain Provides OP Theme for Fire Force 2nd Cour

 

The official website for the ongoing TV anime adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater)'s dark fantasy manga Enn Enn no Shouboutai/Fire Force announced today that five-member Japanese melodious loud rock band coldrain's new song "MAYDAY feat.Ryo from CRYSTAL LAKE" will be featured as the OP theme for its second cour.

 

The band was formed in 2007 and made their major debut from VAP in 2008, then has moved to Warner Music Japan since 2017. This is the third time for them to provide an anime theme song, following "8AM" (Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger ED/2009) and "We're not alone" (Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin OP/2010).

 

"MAYDAY feat.Ryo from CRYSTAL LAKE" will be used from the anime's forthcoming 15th episode, and will be included in the band's sixth full album "THE SIDE EFFECTS" to be released from Warner Music Japan in Japan tomorrow, August 28, 2019. The band's guitarist Y.K.C says, "We think it is completed as a very heavy, cool, and dynamic song. We hope this 'MAYDAY (feat. Ryo from Crystal Lake)' will add grace to the TV anime 'Fire Force' as its opening theme."

The TV anime Fire Force is now simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

Pump Iron Like a Pirate in Tokyo's Official One Piece Gym

  Calling all swole swashbucklers! If you're one of the countless folks who find that anime takes working out to the next level, you'll want to keep your eyes on a gym that's getting ready to open in Tokyo. Yotsuba&! Art Exhibition Gets Whimsical in Yokohama in October

  Residents of Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan will soon have the opportunity to "enjoy everything", because an art exhibition dedicated to Kiyohiko Azuma's Yotsuba&! , an everyday comedy manga about the gentle adventures of an adopted 5 year old girl, will open there soon.   The Kiyohiko Azuma "YOTSUBA&!" Exhibition of Original Manga Drawings will run from October 07 - 23, 2022, in the Calendar Room venue on the 7th floor of the Marui City Yokohama shopping center in Takashima, Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.   The installation will include original manga drawings, making-of videos exploring Azuma's creative process, new artwork, and more.
