Fruits Basket Anime Spinoff Announced for 2022

 

The official Twitter account for the Fruits Basket: The Final Season TV anime has announced on Monday that a spin-off focusing on Tohru's parents titled "Kyoko to Katsuya no Monogatari" (The Story of Kyoko and Katsuya) is currently in production for a release in 2022, with the format to be determined. In addition, a new stage play is also in development also planned for a premiere in 2022. A new video has also been released celebrating the end of the series, including the above developments, and including messages of thanks.

 

 

The series ran from September 2019 to June 2021 as a complete adaptation of the original manga by author Natsuki Takaya with an all new cast. The final season is available now on Crunchyroll.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
