EXCLUSIVE: Dark Horse Debuts Cat + Gamer Manga in English in 2022

If you love cats and video games, you'll want to look into the latest manga on the way from Dark Horse. Cat + Gamer comes from Japanese publisher Shogakukan, creator Wataru Nadatani, and translator Zack Davisson, and the series is set to make its English debut in March 2022.

 

Cat + Gamer will be available in comic shops first on March 2, 2022, followed by bookstores on March 15, 2022. 

 

Synopsis:

Meet Riko, a twenty-nine-year-old office worker with an obsession with video games. Her coworkers can’t quite figure her out—she never talks about her personal life, she never works overtime, and she never joins them for happy hour. Is she antisocial? Nope, she’s rushing home to play video games alone. That is until a stray cat is found in the office parking lot and ends up coming home with her! Having no experience with pets, Riko uses lessons drawn from video games to guide her in cat care, while her cute companion tries to understand her behavior through a cat's worldview. Equal parts funny and heartwarming, Cat + Gamer is the perfect manga for cat lovers, gamers, and anyone looking for a lighthearted new read!

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
