Sakuretsu! Amabie-hime Short Form Anime Hits TV Saitama in July

Amabie, a creature of Japanese folklore who is said to protect people from disease, is getting a bold new look in Sakuretsu! Amabie-hime ("Violent Explosion! Princess Amabie"), a newly announced short form TV anime that will broadcast on TV Saitama beginning in July of 2022. The main staff and cast have been revealed for the series, including:

 

  • Original work: George Ohara
  • Key animation: George Ohara, Kirara
  • Screenplay: George Ohara, Kirara
  • Animation: Shuretsuku Hei 1-go, Kirara, oshiro
  • Coordination: Itaru Ito

The cast for Sakuretsu! Amabie-hime includes:

 

  • Yuko Shirahama as Amabie-hime.
  • Kaori Shimizu as Tojiji.
  • Kayoko Ohkubo as Koegadekami.
  • Akira Yoshimura (Broadcast!!) as Natsuo.
  • Yuupon as Katsuo.
  • Kaori Akino as Tobio.
  • Yoyoyo-chan as Kurio.
  • Roco as Atsuko.
  • Yuino as Akiko.
  • And Hiromitsu Mayashita as the Opening Narrator.

 

The story of Sakuretsu! Amabie-hime involves Amabie-hime, a spirit who saved people from a plague during the Edo Period, dashing around like mad in the modern day trying to save people in the current Reiwa Era. The series will broadcast on Saturdays during the 17:55 time frame (5:55pm JST) beginning on July 02, 2022. Each episode will be approximately 5 minutes in length.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!
