Pop Team Epic TV Anime Unleashes 72-Hour Bob Ne Mimimi Marathon

Popuko and Pipimi look quite different in a scene from the "Bob ne Mimi" segments of the Pop Team Epic TV anime.

 

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the Internet, the Pop Team Epic TV has decided to throw a wrench in the gears with a 72-hour "endurance marathon" of the "Bob ne Mimimi" segments of the series streaming on Youtube. Based on the 4-panel comic by Bkub Okawa (published in Takeshobo's Manga Life Win serialization), the Pop Team Epic TV anime is directed by Jun Aoki and features animation production by Kamikaze Douga and Space Neko Company. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:

 

Crude, rude, and a little…cute? Get ready for the larger-than-life attitude of Popuko and Pipimi, the small and tall stars of Pop Team Epic! The second season of Pop Team Epic hits Japanese TV on October 01, 2022, and it will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2022 anime simulcast lineup.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
