Daiki Yamashita Shows His Two Sides in SEVEN KNIGHTS REVOLUTION ED Theme MV
The official YouTube channel for voice actor Daiki Yamashita, best known as Sakamichi Onoda in Yowamushi Pedal and Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia, has started streaming a short version music video for "Tail," the lead track from his solo singer debut EP "hear me?" The song is now featured as the ED theme for the spring 2021 TV anime SEVEN KNIGHTS REVOLUTION: Hero Successor, in which he is also cast as its protagonist character, Nemo.
Yamashita's first music video was produced in collaboration with Tsugumi Matsunaga, an up-and-coming video director who recently directed the music videos for voice actress Maaya Uchida ("Strobe Memory") and Rikako Aida ("FUTURE LINE").
The film clip features two sides of Yamashita - the positive side and the negative side. The positive side shows his usual relaxed and gentle expression, while the negative side shows his sorrowful and somewhat lonely expression. Also, the singing scenes capture his seriousness as a solo artist, which symbolizes his new frontier.
The five-song EP "hear me?" is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2021.
