Princess Connect! Re: Dive Kicks off Halloween Early with Kyoka (Halloween)!
Heyas, Knights - merry spookymas! That’s right - we’re kicking off Halloween early in Astraea, with new Halloween-themed characters and events headed your way. After all, it’s not Halloween without a little bit of a scare - and what could be more scary than thinking you misread your calendar?
(For the record, we did not mis-read our calendar. The schedule just has these events lined up for now. Enjoy an early Halloween, Knights!)
Little Lyrical’s getting all geared up to go trick-or-treating (more on that in a bit), and that means that the guild members are getting dressed up in new outfits and costumes for the occasion! To kick things off, we’ve got Kyoka (Halloween), a brand new limited 3★ character to fit the spooky mood. Don’t let her size fool you - Kyoka’s always been known for her magical damage output, and Kyoka (Halloween) kicks it into overdrive with skills and a Union Burst that focuses entirely on raw, unadulterated magic output. Spooky indeed.
If you were around last year for our Halloween-themed festivities, you know that these Halloween-themed characters are limited characters, which means that they’re only included in their Focus Gacha/the main Premium Gacha rotation while their Focus Gacha is live. However, you’ll be able to redeem Kyoka (Halloween) with character points if necessary, and she’ll enjoy increased draw rates when performing draws on her Focus Gacha. After that’s over, though, your opportunity will pass - all tricks, no treat.
The Kyoka (Halloween) Focus Gacha runs for 11 days, from 9/1, 23:00 UTC to 9/12, 22:59 UTC.
Speaking of limited characters - if you missed your chance to nab some of last year’s exclusive Halloween characters, we’ve got you covered! After the Kyoka (Halloween) Focus Gacha ends, we’ll be running a Prize Gacha dedicated to Shinobu (Halloween) and Misaki (Halloween), last year’s Gacha-exclusive Halloween characters.
During the Prize Gacha, you’ll be able to pick one of the two characters, and you’ll receive extra random goodies when performing draws on the Prize Gacha, including Divine Amulets, Memory Shards of the chosen character, and plenty of other rewards. The characters themselves will also enjoy boosted draw rates, making this the perfect opportunity to pick up any character you missed out on last year, or nab extra Memory Shards for them. In fact, it’ll be your only opportunity to grab these characters for a good while - so mark your calendars accordingly!
The Shinobu (Halloween) and Misaki (Halloween) Prize Gacha runs for five days, from 9/12, 23:00 UTC to 9/17, 22:59 UTC.
Trick-or-treat! Rumor has it that there’s candy up for grabs. Only catch? You’ve gotta brave a haunted mansion to obtain it. But Little Lyrical is a group of brave adventurers that in no way shape or form will be scared of the spooky horrors within said mansion, right? (They will be scared of at least one ghost.)
Speaking of trick or treat - in this event, you can get the best of both. First up you’re in for some tricks as this event features unique, exclusive boss battles, where you can test your skills in three varying difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. Very Hard is set to be the toughest of the bunch, and is only clearable once per day. If you’re craving even more of a challenge, we’ve also prepared another Special difficulty Boss, with unique challenges and mechanics that will challenge you in new ways across three different modes. Of course, for each boss you best, you’ll earn rewarding treats for your troubles, such as Victory Medals, equipment, and more.
In order to fight the bosses, though, you’ll need to spend Boss Tickets. These Boss Tickets can be obtained by clearing event stages, as well as from login bonuses while the event is active. If you don’t successfully defeat a boss on your first attempt, don’t sweat it - you can retry as many times as necessary, and non-lethal damage dealt to a Boss carries over between attempts.
Misogi (Halloween) is all decked out for Halloween. Not only is she ready to collect treats but she’s also got some tricks up her sleeves. You’ll be in for an explosive surprise when her Jack-o-lanterns show up. During the story event period, you’ll be able to obtain an exclusive free unit in Misogi (Halloween) after defeating the boss on Normal difficulty. Make sure to gather some treats with Misogi (Halloween) before the Halloween costumes are put away.
Just when you thought we were all out of treats, we’re also increasing the experience gain rates for completing Event Quests. During the event, clearing Event Quests will give 1.5x times the normal experience, in addition to the normal Mana, items, and Boss Tickets that these quests give out.
The Victory Medal Gacha also makes its splash for the event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a plethora of goodies. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a key reward - once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move ahead to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Here are the key rewards you should look out for!
- Lineup 1: Kyoka’s Memory Shard x 20
- Lineup 2: Misogi (Halloween)’s Memory Shard x 25
- Lineup 3: Kyoka‘s Memory Shard x 30
- Lineup 4: Misogi (Halloween)’s Memory Shard x 40
Just remember - once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.
The Little Brave Halloween Night! story event will be available from 9/1, 23:00 UTC to 9/15, 22:59 UTC.
