R-Type Final 3

 

Following up on the initial reveal of some fresh R-Type shoot 'em ups, NIS America has confirmed plans to publish both in the west. R-Type Final 3 Evolved is coming to PlayStation 5 in the west in spring 2023, followed by R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC in summer 2023.

Building on the side-scrolling action of R-Type Final 2, R-Type Final 3 Evolved features exclusive stages created by Kazuma Kujo, all of the homage stages from the first Stage Pass and an update that adds in new playable ships, a new multiplayer mode, global rankings and more. NIS America's release will support Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish language options.

 

R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos boasts an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the two turn-based strategy entries, and this will mark the western debut for R-Type Tactics II. Check out a brief teaser trailer:

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
