Goblin Slayer Creator Shares His Love For Western Fantasy

The breakthrough dark fantasy hit anime of this fall anime season, Goblin Slayer, hit the ground running and never looked back. It follows the adventures of Goblin Slayer, who’s sole goal in life is to kill goblins. It’s a compelling way to go about storytelling as the audience learns about the character as the characters around him get to know him as well.


Goblin Slayer was inspired by a combination of the author’s love for Western fantasy and tabletop gaming - specifically Dungeons and Dragons. Kumo Kagyu walked us through his inspiration and creative process that went into the creation of the the dark fantasy light novel that has become a manga and most recently, a hit anime.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
