Report: Animated Castlevania Producer Adapting The Legend of Zelda

 

Despite Nintendo's denial at the time, reports surfaced in the past about Netflix adapting The Legend of Zelda series in some form. Now, according to a report on The Wrap, it sounds like said adaptation could be coming from Castlevania producer Adi Shankar. 

 

The Wrap's exclusive report doesn't have much in the way of details, but it all started with a post Shankar made on Instagram. The post says, "I can confirm that I'm working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series." 

 

Shankar went on to say that the success of Castlevania made this possible. Thankfully, we won't have to wait too long to find out whether the Zelda reports pan out or not. Shankar will announce what the series is on November 16.

  The official site and social media accounts for the Macross franchise have released the key visual for the final Walküre concert event tied into the Macross Delta franchise. Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
