Hayao Miyazaki's 1983 Manga Shuna's Journey to Be Released in English

Nearly 40 years after its initial publication, a formative graphic novel by Studio Ghibli's Hayao Miyazaki is finally making its way over in English. First Second Books announced plans to release 1983's Shuna's Journey, featuring a translation by Alex Dudok de Wit.

Shuna's Journey contains hints of later works by Miyazaki like NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke. The English version is due out on November 1, so Miyazaki fans can mark their calendars and look forward to checking out some more of his trademark watercolor style.
