Hayao Miyazaki's 1983 Manga Shuna's Journey to Be Released in English

Nearly 40 years after its initial publication, a formative graphic novel by Studio Ghibli's Hayao Miyazaki is finally making its way over in English. First Second Books announced plans to release 1983's Shuna's Journey, featuring a translation by Alex Dudok de Wit. 

 

Shuna's Journey contains hints of later works by Miyazaki like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke. The English version is due out on November 1, so Miyazaki fans can mark their calendars and look forward to checking out some more of his trademark watercolor style.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
