Diabolocal TV Anime Chimimo Reveals Japanese Broadcast Details

Surrounded by leaping flames, Jigoku-san throws up his arms and roars in a futile attempt to look intimidating in a scene from the upcoming Chimimo TV anime.

 

The devil is in the details, and now new information (below) has been revealed about the Japanese broadcast of Chimimo, an upcoming original TV anime and self-described "heartful hell comedy" about a group of evil spirits who find themselves outmatched when they are tasked with conquering the human world.

The story of Chimimo follows Chimimo, an evil spirit and self-described "emissary of Hell" who is sent to the human world from the infernal realms in order to upset the balance on Earth and enact the "Human World Hell-ification Plan". Together with his friend Jigoku-san, Chimimo moves into the Kishin family household and tries to live and get along with the three Kishin sisters - Mutsumi, Hazuki, and Mei - while concealing his true purpose. Unfortunately, Chimimo is a lazy freeloader...

 

A new key visual for the upcoming Chimimo TV anime featuring the hellish forces of Chimimo and his friend Jigoku-san preparing to invade the human word in adorable fashion.

Chimimo is directed by Pinoaruto and features animation production by Shin-Ei Animation. The series will broadcast in Japan according the following TV schedule:

 

  • TV Tokyo: every Thursday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on July 07, 2022.
  • BS Asahi: every Friday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on July 08, 2022.

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early morning programming as late night programming for the previous day, so for example the 24:30 time slot on Thursday evening is actually on Friday morning at 12:30am JST.

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!
