NieR: Automata to Celebrate 5th Anniversary with Live Stream

Amazingly enough, it's been almost exactly five years since NieR: Automata first launched on PlayStation 4. After the February 23, 2017 Japanese launch, western releases followed in March 2017 on PS4 and PC, then Xbox One in June 2018. Now Square Enix aims to mark the special occasion with a NieR: Automata 5th Anniversary Live Stream.

 

The event is scheduled for February 23 at 6:00pm Japan Time (1:00am PT/4:00am ET), and will stream live on Niconico with guests that include series producer Yosuke Saito, creative director Yoko Taro, senior game designer Takahisa Taura, and composer Keiichi Okabe.

 

In addition to looking back on the past five years since the game's launch, there will be some sort of announcement, giveaways, and a Q&A segment. That last bit will be exclusive to Niconico Premium members, who can ask questions through a form.

Pump Iron Like a Pirate in Tokyo's Official One Piece Gym

  Calling all swole swashbucklers! If you're one of the countless folks who find that anime takes working out to the next level, you'll want to keep your eyes on a gym that's getting ready to open in Tokyo. Yotsuba&! Art Exhibition Gets Whimsical in Yokohama in October

  Residents of Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan will soon have the opportunity to "enjoy everything", because an art exhibition dedicated to Kiyohiko Azuma's Yotsuba&! , an everyday comedy manga about the gentle adventures of an adopted 5 year old girl, will open there soon.   The Kiyohiko Azuma "YOTSUBA&!" Exhibition of Original Manga Drawings will run from October 07 - 23, 2022, in the Calendar Room venue on the 7th floor of the Marui City Yokohama shopping center in Takashima, Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.   The installation will include original manga drawings, making-of videos exploring Azuma's creative process, new artwork, and more.
