British Twitter Shows How a UK Pokémon Adventure Would Really Go

 

This morning's Pokémon Sword and Shield announcement revealed that the new game will take place in Galar, a new UK-inspired region. The announcement has us dreaming of battles in castles, royal trainers, and Celtic Ghost-type 'mons. But when it comes to Twitter's UK contingent, the expectations are more along the lines of football hooligans and the best place to get a sausage roll.

 

British Twitter users — and those abroad familiar with the UK — have started putting a real-world spin on the upcoming Pokémon journey.

 

 

 

 

 

Amongst fans, the girl-type protagonist seems to be developing the collective persona of @ScottishTweets, as seen in this tweet from @CaptainHanyuu:

 

 

On a slightly more serious/educational note, Twitter user @Keillidh has taken the time to point out that there are some Scottish-inspired settings showing up in-game, too!

 

 

We'll get to see how the whole thing pans out when Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield come out later this year.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
