Pokémon Sword and Shield Kick Off Generation 8 on Switch

 

After taking us on a nostalgic tour back in time with Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, The Pokémon Company is ready to move on to the next generation. The Gen 8 entries were officially revealed as Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield during this morning's Direct presentation, and both are due out on Switch worldwide in late 2019. 

 

Sword and Shield introduce the brand new Galar region, which contains a bunch of never before seen Pokémon and locations. So far, the three starters have been revealed as the Grass-type Grookey, the Fire-type Scorbunny, and the Water-type Sobble. Check out their debut along with some gameplay and cinematic footage in the first trailer below.

Meet Cute Chibi-version Characters in D4DJ Petit Mix Mini Anime Key Visual & PV

    Right after the final 13th episode of the TV anime D4DJ First Mix was aired in Japan last night, it was announced that a new mini anime series D4DJ Petit Mix is set to premiere on February 5, 2021. Seiya Miyajima ( BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico ) serves as the director/series composition writer at DMM.futureworks/W-Toon Studio.   The new comedy series featuring the chibi version characters will be available in "D4DJ Photon Maiden TV," D4DJ project's new variety show hosted by the four members of Photon Maiden - Risa Tsumugi , Ami Maejima , Haruki Iwata , and Hinata Sato .
