EVO 2019 Tournament Reveals Its Fighting Game Lineup

 

The fighting game lineup has officially been revealed for the next entry in the Evolution Championship Series, AKA EVO 2019. The event will be held August 2-4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and pre-registration is now live.

 

As for the games, the lineup includes:

 

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] (PS4)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)

Dragon Ball FighterZ (PS4)

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle (PS4)

Tekken 7 (PS4)

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4)

SOULCALIBUR VI (PS4)

Mortal Kombat 11 (PS4)

Samurai Shodown (PS4)

 

Yep, that means it's time to finally say goodbye to Super Smash Bros. Melee as far as EVO goes. As for one of the big newcomers, it was also revealed that Samurai Shodown is set for a worldwide launch early this summer. Check out a new trailer below.
